aCommerce Indonesia Revenues See 700% Growth
2015 has been a fascinating year for aCommerce Indonesia. Within months after their first anniversary at the beginning of the year, their business performance has grown rapidly, hitting another milestone by becoming aCommerce’s biggest driver of revenue. The country now employs over 360 employees, leading to a larger office space and the expansion of their fulfillment center capacity from 4,100 sqm to 9,332 sqm in July.
In a single year alone, aCommerce Indonesia has successfully multiplied their revenue by more than 7 times at an average monthly revenue growth rate exceeding 30%. All this has been possible because of the 70+ clients that aCommerce Indonesia currently provides ecommerce solutions to and welcomes eight new onboarding clients.
“Indonesian growth is outpacing our expectations, which is a good thing. But it also means we need to scale faster than we thought. The money is going into staff – more people at all levels – more infrastructure, and more technology.” – Adrian Vanzyl, co-founder and CEO of Ardent Capital.
Since their inception in 2013, the original Indonesian team of only 10 has now spilled into a new workspace that provides them with a vibrant and productive working ambience. The success of aCommerce Indonesia undoubtedly could not be achieved without the teamwork and dedication the aTeam has committed since day one. aCommerce is honored to have the support of investors who believe in their mission to help build the ecommerce infrastructure in Southeast Asia and clients who put their trust in them.
aCommerce is now gearing up to raise its Series B, which will be a fundamental backbone to support their future expansion plans to Vietnam and Malaysia and in the end, as Paul Srivorakul, Group CEO envisioned, enables aCommerce to be the biggest ecommerce automation provider across Southeast Asia with less and less manual service and more technological approach. With their funding around the corner and a new Chief Logistics Officer to strengthen cross-border services, the team has nothing but high hopes for the near future.
