New Delivery App Breaks the Boundaries
Of ecommerce Fulfillment with Digital Signature Feature & More
After piloting the software on July 9th, all 40 aCommerce delivery riders are now equipped with a smartphone that has built-in delivery tracking and a digital proof of delivery application. The application allows detailed tracking of all riders, including information about where they are, how many packages are being delivered successfully, how many are in-progress, how many deliveries failed with detailed reasons, and more importantly allowing capture of proof of customer receipt with the digital signature at point of delivery. This is the first time the ‘Digital Signature Capture’ technology is being used for e-commerce fulfillment in Indonesia.
Most companies are using manual documentation to capture proof of delivery and any problem would require a search through piles of manual documents. This will make delivery faster and more efficient for the fleet, with lower fail rates, on the spot problem resolution, redelivery reconciliation and more. The app is already rolled out in Singapore and soon Thailand.
